BUSINESSES EXPAND AT OUT OF TOWN BUSINESS PARK
Construction company Leadbitter has expanded its regional offices at Cardiff Gate International Business Park, taking the ground floor of unit 4 Ashtree Court. The company also occupies unit 1 on the same development, taking their office space to 5,880 sq ft in total over two buildings.
The company is currently delivering over 250 homes on 10 sites throughout South Wales and The West offering clients in both the UK construction and affordable housing markets a complete turnkey service from feasibility and design conception, through planning and building regulations approval.
Meanwhile Rhomco Consulting has also upgraded its offices, relocating from småaller offices on the 100-acre business park. The project management and quantity surveying company has taken the ground floor of Westview House on Oak Tree Court totalling 3,838 sq ft, with the first floor available to let.
Andy Morton, Director at Rhomco said, “The location has served us extremely well over the years so we saw no reason to look elsewhere following our decision to seek larger premises. The offices are also conveniently located on the M4 corridor allowing quick and easy access to our national client base.”
Rhomco Consulting has been appointed by Cardiff Gate International Business Park as the project managers and cost consultants for Lime Tree Court, the next phase of development totalling 82,880 sq ft scheduled to start early next year.
News of Leadbitter and Rhomco follows on from SPIE Matthew Hall taking 1,960 sq ft of office space at the business park.
Fletcher Morgan is the letting agent for the business park. John James of Fletcher Morgan said; “With unstable global economic conditions, it is refreshing to see these businesses thriving and expanding their office space.”
Cardiff Gate International Business Park comprises 500,000 sq ft of contemporary office space and is home to major tenants such as Coca Cola, Redrow Homes, Freshwater, The Number and the International Baccalaureate.
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT IN PIPELINE AT LEADING BUSINESS PARK

Cardiff Gate International Business Park has received planning permission for Lime Tree Court, the next phase of office development besides the M4 at junction 30.
When complete, the development will consist of six high quality office blocks providing 82,880 sq ft of employment space. It will be built in two phases and it is hoped work will start onsite early next year.
The news follow on from planning permission granted earlier this year for Laburnam House, a three-storey stand-alone 10,050 sq ft development also to be located at the 100 acre park.
Tony Fletcher, Managing Director of Cardiff Gate International Business Park, said, "Despite a changing financial climate, the Park continues to attract interest in the marketplace with businesses frequently looking to us as the best located out of town office park in Wales."
The park is being marketed by Cardiff based Fletcher Morgan. John James of Fletcher Morgan said, “Lime Tree Court is a high quality office development with offices available from 1,620 sq ft. The scheme will be available to let as a whole or on a floor-by-floor basis and will include generous parking.”
Sir Robert McAlpine is the contractor and Kennedy James Griffiths the architect.
Cardiff Gate International Business Park is South Wales’ premier business park situated at the gateway to the capital. Current occupiers include Coca-Cola, 118 118, Castleoak, International Baccalaureate and Redrow Homes
