Royal College of Nursing commits to Wales’ premier business park

After more than 15 years as a tenant, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has secured a new 10-year lease at Cardiff Gate International Business Park.

Located within Copse Walk, the RCN employs 150 members of staff at its 19,500 sq ft site.

The RCN is the largest professional body for qualified, registered nurses and nursing students with 435,000 members in the UK including over 24,500 members in Wales. It represents nurses and nursing, promoting excellence in practice and shaping health policies. It has a network of offices across the UK, with stewards, learning/safety representatives, and union representatives providing support and advice to its members.

Richard Workman, Estates Projects Manager for the RCN said: “We’ve enjoyed the past 15 years here at Cardiff Gate and during this time we have seen our membership grow and the services we provide to our members. 

“Securing the tenancy allows the RCN to continue growth, providing members with the highest quality of member services and support.”

The RCN was advised by HMC, Chartered Surveyors/Property Consultants.

Cardiff Gate International Business Park is managed by lettings agent Fletcher Morgan. Its director John James said:

“RCN is one of our longest standing tenants and we’re thrilled that the team have renewed their lease."
